The literature of Holocaust and resistance - Abstract: This text aims to construct a comprehensive view on the Holocaust, the atrocities committed by the nazis, and the strategies of resistance used by Jews in the ghettos, forced labour camps and even extermination camps, despite the reining terror. The cultural resistance and its literary output were instrumental to bring awareness to what happened in this period. There is also a subsequent literature of collective and individual memories. From the 1980s onwards, published works of greater depth and scope began to be produced by both fictional writers and humanities scholars. The subject is certainly inexhaustible.
