Resumo

The current paper approaches the development of a project called "Virtual Colleagues",
taken with the students from the public educational institutions in SantaCruz do Sul, RS.
The project has as the main goals to bring digital inclusion to the students, by bringing to
them UNISC´s distance learning environment - EAD UNISC.
The project was conducted with 152 students at a high school level. The discussions
approached during the project execution are related to highlight the benefits of technology
information as a basis to help students to find best positions at the time they will have to get
a job. We also found that, informatics and they associated technologies can improve the
student skills in many different fields such as applying distance learning tools, college
education, among others.
