Resumo

A literatura hebraica dos últimos sessenta anos estendeu-se por uma ampla gama de temas e abordagens que abrangem todos os campos da existência do país e da “israelidade”. Considerando que este conceito, durante o período mencionado, sofreu e sofre uma grande influência dos acontecimentos ligados às principais lutas do país, da Guerra da Independência às guerras no Líbano, este trabalho, ao rever a literatura do período, fixou-se em obras que servem para dissecar como os escritores selecionados entenderam os graves fatos ligados a elas e a respectiva repercussão de suas obras.


We will remember them all... - Abstract: Hebrew literature in the last sixtyyears has addressed a broad gamut of themesand approaches encompassing all the fields of life in Israel and its “Israeliness”. Consideringthat during this period of time the concept of Israeliness has been under a great influence of the events connected to the main struggles of the country, from Independence War to the wars in Lebanon, this article proposes to review the literature of the period, concentrating inliterary works fitting to the purpose of finding outhow selected writers understood the grave facts connected to the wars and how their works echoed in Israeli society.
